Anemometer tower is a tower structure used to observe and record the airflow movement near the ground. In the past, it was mostly built by meteorological and environmental protection departments for meteorological observation and atmospheric environment monitoring.
The Guyed Wire tower is set up in the wind farm site, which is mostly of quilted structure and cylindrical structure. It is reinforced by steel strand cable, and the height is generally 10-150m. Anemometer, wind vane, temperature and air pressure monitoring equipment are installed at different heights of the tower. The wind condition of the site can be continuously observed all day, and the measured data are recorded and stored in the data recorder installed on the tower.
Structure design of anemometer tower: there are two common structure forms of anemometer tower: self-supporting type and guyed type. The lower part of the self-supporting anemometer tower is wide, the material consumption of the tower is relatively large, and the requirements for the foundation are also high; the guyed anemometer tower has reasonable stress, high reliability, small section of the tower, and small material consumption of the tower, but there are many guyed foundations, and the construction process is complex.
